Clown Boy
02:44
|
|||
Clown-Boy travelled in a silver world
and called out for you to see him.
He said he struggled,
and then travelled through the weekend.
Clown-Boy has patched his mind
cos he thinks that he could lose it.
He said the troubles
have been worth it, after all.
Clown-Boy says he´ll travel around the world,
that he´s gonna miss you afterwards, still in love!
Clown-Boy says he´ll travel around the world,
that he´s gonna kiss you afterwards, hope above!
Clown-Boy, he´ll travel the world,
with his head to the ground he said
`I would like to travel with you
and then fade away, or disappear,
with nothing to say, just a simple tear´.
Clown-Boy, he´s made it, he got up
after all, he got luck.
Said he travelled alone
and watched from above
and talked to talkers
and kissed you afterwards,
for that, he bought you roses.
Now he´s gonna pay the bill,
before the bus door closes.

Paradise Beach
03:34
|
|||
G C
There were some times when they had to beg for a tear,
G C
the decline was predicted but I thought that it would, take away fear
G C
and there were some times when I thought that I would win
D
the chase I had started, to get back my heart and that ended in a street called sin.
G C
Then I looked into a casket,
G D
that I had found close to the sea.
G C
and I was surprised that the casket,
D
had lasted enough time to protect nine pearls I had found in a fine place where I had stopped and where I thought that I someday might be.
G C
That was the time when I went to paradise beach, and I met new friends
G D
and I said hello friends, where/how have you been?
G,C,G,D
G C
there were some times when they had to beg for a smile
G C
I felt so respected and at the same time I felt, so juvenile
G C
and there were some times when I thought, that I would lose
D
the necklaces that I´d collected in towns that my friends did, but I did not choose.

C G C
We´ll sing the whole night long, and we´ll travel back in time, back in time

See You There
02:32
|
|||
When I met you outside the bar,
you said that we have come to far,
you said: “I have woken up”
and you said: “I am giving up”.
Next time I would like to see,
someone that is close to me,
someone that has the kind of mind,
I can rely on when I´ m blind.
but now,
I am glad.
For now,
I am so glad.
To see you there,
to see you there,
to see you there.
Thank you for all of the time, that you spent with me,
thank you for all of the things, that you say you see,
thank you for all of your trust, you said that we could be,
just like Tom sang in his song, in a bar under the (sea)
see you there
see you there
see you there
I´ll see you there
I´ll see you there
Now when I leave you
I may not think of you
I may not miss you the most
Oh when I leave you
I may not think of you
I may not miss you the most
Oh when I leave you
that’s when I think of you
that’s when I miss you the most
Oh when I leave you
that’s when I think of you
that’s when I miss you the most
I think of you
I think of you
.
.
.
.
and I miss you the most.

Second Life
03:44
|

C, Em, F,G
C Em F G
I know very well that the life that you´re living,
C Em F G
is not the life that you had wished for yourself
C Em F G
I know very well that the kisses that you´re giving,
C Em F G
I see it in your eyes, they´re meant for someone else
C Em F G
Somewhere in a second life
C Em F G
You wish for a second life
C Em F G
I know very well, that the help that I offer,
C Em F G
is of no use at all, it doesn´t help a bit
C Em F G
I know very well that whatever makes you suffer
C Em F G
I am not allowed to ask and you, you wouldn´t admit
C Em F G
Maybe in a second life
C Em F G
You wish for a second life
Em Am
So please look back
F G
so memories can´t kill you
Em Am
Please look back
F G
The way that enemies do
C,Em, F, G
C Em F
It´s up to you to drag it down
G C
To give all up, to swim and drown
Em F
its up to you to be unkind
G C
and see the things you couldn´t find
Em F
and if you think its getting cold
G C
well it´s not cold, well it´s not cold
Em F
Its up to you to end this strife
Oh I forgot
C Em F G
You wish for a second life
C Em F G
you wish for a second life
C Em F G
maybe a third life
C Em F G
what about a third life
C Em F G
maybe a fourth life
C Em F G
do you think about a fourth life
C Em F G
you wish for a second life
C Em F G
you wish for a second life

Smugglers & Survivals
03:34
|
|||
There hasn´t been a change, not a little bit of changing,
everybody in here has some faky little aching,
it isn’t that bad, because everyone has had,
had enough of everything, that has been driving us mad.
We are smugglers, the smugglers, the survivals, the survivals.
We try to smell the street, no we sure don’t have the need,
to have lots and lost of things to be lots and lots of things,
and we take it as it comes and we love it when it runs,
and we laugh about the things that any other person sings.
We are smugglers, the smugglers, the survivals, the survivals.
So hold on.

I Bought You A Boat
03:39
|
|||
D7,G,D7,G
D7
I bought you a boat
G
well but it looked so old
D7
then I bought you a ship
G
oh that ship was too big
D7
so I bought you a train
G
but they all look the same
D7
then I bought you a plane
G
but all you wanted was fame.
C
Now show me a reason (I´ll show you a reason)
G
to stay for the season
D7
we´ll be on a trip, it´ll make us so big
C G
it could take us to prison.
C
You ain´t got no more money (I ain´t got no more money)
G
and your friends are funny (but my friends are funny)
D7
and we still got time, I don´t drink no wine (and we still got time and plenty of wine)
C G
ain´t that enough, honey?
D7
Well maybe I am to late
C G
and maybe this is just fate
D7
maybe the time was wrong
C G
Oh baby I love this song! (or baby is it this song?)

Carla
04:36
|
|||
At first she had me spinning around,
showed me the freedom that I hadn´t found.
We were the over the tops, the never caught by the cops,
we were ment for each other and I loved her lots.
But then the problems started, when we spent to much time,
in the nights on the streets, I drank to much wine.
She started to scare me and I started thinking,
if I wanted her with me, then I should stop drinking.
But then a new found compromise, made us get along
and for a couple of months, there was nothing going wrong.
Until late November, when she went out at night,
she got into some trouble, she got into some fight.
The psycho, the gun and all the police,
I couldn´t believe it, what I saw made me freeze.
Remember Carla when we sang the blues?
And now I have to watch, your death on the news.
And all the people went ... Ohhhhhhh
Oh sweet Carla.
